FORTY POINTS TO PONDER WHILE NOT BELIEVING IN GOD:

POINT #1: H2O-H2O2: Creation, or Accident? Coincidence, or Divine design? H2O is the chemical formula for water; H2O2 is the formula for peroxide! One small change in an additional oxygen atom, and the next sip you take would be poison!
POINT #2: Life Before The Flood: do you know there is evidence that before the Flood, there were no harmful bacteria, no rain, and no disease?
POINT #3: The Grand Design: science has proven that our solar system—with planets revolving around the sun—is quite similar to the Bohr Atom—with electrons orbiting like tiny planets!
POINT #4: The Elemental Universe: in our travels beyond earth, we have not discovered one published new element—the universe seems uniformly composed!
POINT #5: The Flight Of A Bee: in all of our exalted science, we still cannot describe adequately enough to duplicate—the simple flight of a honeybee!
POINT #6: The Missing Day: there is quite a bit of controversy about the Biblical stories about how the sun was stopped in the sky at the battle of Gideon, and went backward 10 degrees (40 minutes) in Isaiah: NASA computers were reported to have found a “missing day” in time to support these accounts!
POINT #7: The Velocity Of Light: if an object moves away from the earth at the speed of light, the time passed for the traveler is much less than the time passed on earth: in this way, a traveler could be virtually immortal by Earth standards. Is this how science perceives the mechanics of immortality as described in the Bible?
POINT #8: The Power Of The Atom: The Bible says that God hold all things together—”...by Him all things consist...” (Colossians 1:17) If this is true, then how powerful must God be if one atom—ONE—split in two by nuclear fission—can level a city block?
POINT #9: The Symbol Of Infinity: Infinity, in mathematical terms, means the largest (or smallest) number or dimension reachable—literally without end or description. Isn’t it interesting how science routinely uses this symbol in mathematics—yet disbelieves in God because it cannot see or measure Him?
POINT #10: The Number Of The Universe: do you know that there are passages in the Bible which say that the stars of heaven are innumerable—yet at the time the bible was written, science said there were 1,047 stars!
POINT #11: The Black Hole Of Space: the Bible indicates that Satan would be cast and bound in a “Lake Of Fire:” science has discovered the existence of “black holes,” star pools of liquid plasma energy at millions of degrees Fahrenheit that trap anything that enters in!
POINT #12: Noah’s Ark: always thought to be the stuff of myth, we now believe that it lies just where the Bible says—on Mount Ararat!
POINT #13: Abraham’s Well And King Solomon’s Mines: have both been discovered!
POINT #14: The Cities Of Sodom And Gomorrah: have been reported to have been found—with high salt concentrations in the surrounding land!
POINT #15: Prophetic Perfection: ALL of the prophecies in the Bible have come true—except ones dealing with the coming last days (and most of them have come true—with more being fulfilled each day)!
POINT #16: Prophecies Concerning Jesus: the odds against Jesus fulfilling all the prophecies concerning Him by chance are higher than all the stars in the universe—even higher than all the molecules in the universe!
POINT #17: Concerning False Christs: Jesus warned that in the last days “False christs would arise.” In 1984, a person named “Lord Maitreya” announced himself in a full-page ad in the New York Times newspaper by declaring that “the Christ is now here!”
POINT #18: The Brain Vs. The Computer: for something that is supposed to have come from primeval ooze, the brain is remarkably powerful: one brain cell can accomplish more mathematical operations that our most powerful computers, to date!
POINT #19: Chandrasekhar’s Limit: the Bible says that in the Apocalypse, the sun would go dark; science said until recently that it will explode one day. Dr. Chandrasekhar, Nobel-prize winner, says it will go dark due to insufficient mass to support a nova!
POINT #20: The Fault On The Mount Of Olives: the Bible says when Jesus returns, His foot first lands on this mount, causing it to split, moving apart north and south; research now indicates that there is a fault on this mount running east and west—so the halves will have to travel to the north and south!
POINT #21: The Universal Product Code: it is quite possible that this linear bar code glyph—that you see on all your purchases—is actually the “Mark Of The Beast” referred to in Revelation!
POINT #22: The Watchmaker: if I showed you a beautiful swiss watch—and then told you it assembled itself—would you believe it? Then why would you believe the infinitely more complex universe assembled itself?
POINT #23: When Matter Did Not Exist: All Uranium eventually degrades into lead; now some scientists say there was no creation—the universe has always been—then why do we still have Uranium around?
POINT #24: The Reformation Of Israel: It is prophesied in Ezekiel 36:24 and 38:8 that Israel would be refounded in the “latter years” (end times). This happened in 1948—how close to the end of this age are we?
POINT #25: “...and knowledge shall be increased...”: the Bible says in Daniel 12:4 that in the latter days knowledge will be increased. Do you know our computer-aided total knowledge now DOUBLES every two years?
POINT #26: Earthquake Frequency: in the centuries that recorded earthquakes, the total of major quakes was around 50; in the 20th century ALONE, we have had over 200—just as the Bible predicted!
POINT #27: “...many shall run to and fro...”: in the time of the end of the age, the bible says in Daniel 12 that this would be the case: 6,000,000,000 qualifies as “many!”
POINT #28: Famines And Pestilence (Disease): more famines right now than ever in history, simultaneously; more diseases (and new, different—even man-made ones) than any time in history!
POINT #29: The Sign Of The Fish: Scientists postulate that the “Star” Of Bethlehem was actually an alignment of planets, also involving the constellation Pisces—the Fish. Isn’t it interesting that His disciples were fishermen, and He fed the 5,000—with fish?
POINT #30: The Circle Of The Earth: In Isaiah 40:22, he says “It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth...” How did Isaiah know this—when the rest of the world thought the earth was flat until the 1400’s—A.D.?
POINT #31: The Orbit Of The Earth: He also says, “...He hangeth the earth upon nothing...” How did Isaiah know that the earth was in orbit in empty space?
POINT #32: Jericho: The city of Jericho has been found—with its walls collapsed outward, even though they were 15 feet high and 10 feet thick!
POINT #33: The Tribe Of The Hittites: these people are mentioned 46 times in the Bible, but critics claimed they did not exist—until archaeologists fount ancient inscriptions revealing their existence!
POINT #34: The Shroud Of Turin: most scientists believe that this is the image of Jesus on the cloth—and that it cannot be reproduced by human means!
POINT #35: The Supernatural Nature Of The Bible, Part 1: Apologists have determined that the name of Jesus—”Yeshua—” occurs in numerous places in the Old Testament, hidden in various ways. How can this be, before Jesus was even born?
