Subscriptions, Donations, Tithes, Offerings, and Gifts as your heart leads;

PARRC is undergoing a tremendous amount of activity and growth required to make the things found in this website realities; it will take the donations, subscriptions to future publications, and other types of giving to fund this activity.

As we go into the actualization stage of this ministry, we realize that many of the things that you see in this website have not actually occurred yet, or are not yet in existence:  in order for these things to happen, much support from our friends and members must fuel this as the Lord gives movement.

We also realize the importance of the tithes, offerings, donations, and subscriptions to your own churches and fellowships; we would ask that you remember us--the foot-soldiers who are on the front-lines; studying, researching, and providing compelling and life-changing reasons to believe not only for those who are Christian now--but for those who could be.

If not by giving as your heart dictates--or your ability provides--then remember us with a small portion of that which you give to your churches--10% is the number that God Himself ordained for the Levites--and if 10% was right for Him, then it is a good enough number for us to request of the total that you give now.  We know that this small amount will bless us, you, and your church as we continue to support you both in the fight for the souls of mankind.

It is with this vision and understanding that we approach the subject of giving to this ministry; it is indeed for His service--the defense of the faith, apologetics for the Christian Crusader, eschatology for the student of prophecy, faith building for all who encounter us, an institute and museum to educate and edify our understanding, understanding to legitimize Christianity in the eyes of science and a skeptical world--and a fellowship that embodies the design and spirit of the early church.

The Bible has a wonderful parable about giving:

Mark 12:41-44:  "And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.   And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.   And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:  For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living."

HOW DOES ONE GIVE?

OFFERINGS:  those things which are offered up to the church or ministry which come from that which you have to give:  money, time, skill, service--but in this Dispensation Of Grace, it must be as the Spirit moves you to be of real value--either to this ministry or according to the Word, to the Lord;

TITHES:  in all actuality, a tithe means a "tenth" of various things--again, mostly money, and in the Old Testament sense, crops, grain, etc.  This is because, as established in the Old Testament, a tithe was given by the other eleven Tribes to support the priestly tribe who could not work--the Levites.  A tithe, therefore, was "levied" against the other eleven tribes by God for the purpose of supporting them as they performed their priestly duties.  Obviously, this can either be justified or not in this day and age; our model on tithing in this day is that ten percent was the number established by the Lord Himself--so as we said earlier, it must be a good number. 

However, it was ascribed to other things than money; so therefore, if the Spirit moves you to give a tenth of your increase of money, time in service, etc.--then it is still a good thing--but at this time, like so many small struggling ministries, it is money which will most directly help us not only to continue but to survive.

DONATIONS:  donations can be monetary or items that can be used by the ministry as it establishes itself both in design,  staff, equipment, and buildings.  Much is to be done:  much will be required. 

SUBSCRIPTIONS:  The Sunday Morning Church Supplement (a supplement for your church, to provide information and reasons to believe for discussion); The Voice Of  Reason Newsmagazine (which keeps its finger on the pulse of the world in these last days--and provides both apologetic and evidentiary reasons to believe); The Voice In The Wilderness Newsletter (future)--and other departments still in design.  Subscriptions to these types of literature help greatly as we establish and maintain the ministry.  Even though we do not set a firm monthly or yearly subscription charge, when we receive a donation or gift in exchange for these materials, we consider this too be in the "subscriptions" category:  there is more to come in the future!

GIFTS:  Since PARRC Research, Inc. is a non-profit organization, in the strictest interpretation we are not supposed to actually "sell" anything--we offer items for your edification and support, and accept your  gifts in return.   In all cases of chosen types of giving--the important thing is this:
